Whilst he isn’t known for being the most law-abiding superhero, Batman usual draws the line at petty motoring offences. Gotham city’s Dark Knight was taking his Batmobile for a spin when police officers spotted that the vehicle he was driving wasn’t displaying any valid license plates and pulled him over.

As it turns out the mystery man wasn’t in fact Bruce Wayne, but  Lenny B. Robinson, who was on his way to visit some children at his local hospital. As he was able to produce valid number plates and registration documents for the vehicle, the police let him go with a warning.

Ninten-don’t try this at home.

This is very ambitious cargo for such a small delivery vehicle! It’s hard to believe that a little bike could hold a car frame!

Amateur photographer Peter Loft captured a moment of pure genius and pure stupidity in the village of Patrington, near Hull. He caught a man driving along with a smartphone tied to his head in a makeshift hands-free devise. It may seem like a good way to save money, but if he had been spotted by the police, he could have found himself with three penalty points on his licence.

Ellen Booth, of road safety group Brake was baffled by the incident. ‘I would suggest that it’s even more dangerous than simply holding a phone in your hand because this is a very complicated manoeuvre,’ she said.

There is no doubt that this gentleman should be saluted for his ingenuity, however we do not recommend that you follow his lead.

Corby was buzzing with excitement, if not buses, on Saturday as a syndicate of bus drivers won the £38 million EuroMillions jackpot. A dozen StageCoach drivers scooped the huge win, and syndicate leader Dave Mead reportedly threw a party for his colleagues after checking the numbers online. One driver walked out halfway through a shift after learning the news and others called in asking for the day off.

A fellow driver who was not part of the syndicate told The Sun: “You won’t find any of them at work today, that’s for sure. It will be interesting to see if any of them ever come back.” Hardly surprising considering that each individual will pocket £3.1 million each. Despite the bus service being severely disrupted, Corby residents seemed not to mind too much with one resident tweeting: ‘The whole town is talking about it. Try getting a bus in Corby today! Lol.’
